Third Hand Smoke

The smell of smoke that smokers carry with them is also toxic. This ‘third hand smoke’, comes from the hair and clothing of smokers, research shows. "If you smoke, there are toxins in your hair and clothes," says researcher Jonathan Winickoff of the Mass General Hospital for Children (MGHfC) in America. "If you then have contact with your children, they come into contact with these substances".
