The last wish of a British smoker who died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, also called COPD has been fulfilled. He wanted on his tombstone and hearse, signs reading ‘Smoking killed me’ .
The man understood his smoking addiction to be the cause of his lung disease. The smoker, who died at the age of 85, wanted to warn youngsters. The British Albert Whittamore wanted to highlight the dangers of smoking.
He has completed his wish. His hearse read in huge letters the text: smoking killed me. His addiction, he says, was due to years of smoking in his youth. To give a signal to young people he wanted this text. Both on his hearse and on his tombstone.
